Communication has always been important to me. I like to paint as if  I am not in total control, but when I am creating with the flow of the paint and reacting to the movement of the color, I commune with the image and then with the viewer. I currently paint in acrylic, oil and watercolor. I have shown my work in galleries and shows across Long Island and have received awards for a figure drawing , "Nude Woman" and  for “Apples” in a show at Chelsea Mansion, Muttontown, New York. Communication is an interactive social process: the give and take of thoughts, feelings and ideas. As an artist, I hope to elicit a response in the viewer. When the viewer sees the painting and reacts to it, we have dialogue.
